Some of the advantages of this browser (and why you should consider it) are the following: Chromium-based technology, which makes SRWare Iron super intuitive and familiar for any user, easy to use and compatible with many desktop machines, and extremely fast. The current tool, the portable format is ideal for people who want to have a suite of programs, uploaded in a drive or on physical storage devices. This browser comes in two formats - as a desktop-installed application and as a portable tool. Auto, unclear, likely automatic selection.Portable SRWare Iron is a Chromium-based application for browsing the Internet, with extensive support for user safety and a goal to block online trackers that invade people's privacy. Hybrid (previously touch) middle point for devices with a touch screen This wouldn't be so much of an issue if the original options would still be there, even if not set as default, but the lack of the Normal option is sorely missed and from what I've read around, it seems a few Chromium-based browsers haven't followed the Chrome route of removing these options. The current v71 only provides 3 options, namely Refresh, Touchable Refresh and Dynamically Refresh, all UI options geared towards touch-enabled devices, which has very little use for conventional desktop users. I most definitely would ask if the old UI layout options from version 70 and older could be made available as the new tabs are presented in a less pleasing (subjective) and less space-efficient (objective) manner. Is there a way to get it smaller or same size as v70? Vanthatou wrote:Frame and icons are bigger and occupy more spaces in this new version.
